There are 3 levels of mastery of anything.
First, you know nothing, and explaining the topic is only done in simple terms, shallowly, thus you get a simplistic explanation out.
Then, at the intermediate level, you understand the topic better, but you can only explain it in complicated terms, in a long form way.
Last, you get to a deep understanding of the topic. You understand the complicated parts, but are able to explain them in simple terms, and make most people understand it.
You have to go through the first two steps to get to the last.
So if you feel what you’re getting out is not good enough, keep at it, keep learning, keep refining.
